Crunch time has finally arrived for the leading European Beach Soccer squads. Slightly in the shadow of next week’s UEFA Champions League final, the top 8 from the BSWW European ranking are bound to stride for imperial glory at the occasional Circo Massimo Beach Soccer Arena. European Beach Soccer League champions Portugal, Russia, France, Switzerland, defending champions Spain, Hungary, Poland and hosts Italy will serve as gladiators and warm-up the Rome crowd and leave them licking their lips for whatever may come on May 27.   

 

Heads of Azerbaijan Beach Soccer federation were also invited to the mentioned event in Rome. They will attend official ceremonies and games as well as discuss preparatory process on the threshold of World Championship Qualifies to be held in Spain on June 7-14, 2009.
