One of the strongest Brazilian beach soccer players Marco Octavio was appointed coach of Iran national beach soccer team. In spite of the fact that currently he manages «Shirin Faraz» (Iranian club), now he will prepare Iran national beach soccer team to World Championship 2009 Qualifies.

 

Octavio guided Brazil to six World Championship titles, which remains a record among beach soccer coaches. He became the first coach to beat “soccer kings” by another country. In 2001 he won the global crown with Portugal national beach soccer team.

 

Whether we see the guru of the modern beach soccer in Dubai, and whether Octavio succeeds to raise Iran in the world rating by his second attempt – the new season will show everything.
