The tournament, which was attended by 8 teams, Held from May 30 to June 3 in the seaside park. The tournament was supported by the Mayor of Batumi, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Autonomous Republic and the Beach Soccer Federation of Adjara.
The tournament is organized by the Olympic system the Euroleague standard.
The head of International Batumi Open tournament was Afghan Hamzayev in FIFA beach soccer referee of Azerbaijan.
The participants of the tournament:
Azerbaijan (Demirbank FC and PFC Neftchi), FC Pavlodar (Kazakhstan champions) FC Izmir (Turkey's champions, the base command team of Turkey), FC Leksmaks (Champion of Moldavia, the core team) and the three best clubs of Georgia (Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi).
Tournament was on very professional level and our team lost in the finals to Izmir team (4-3).
