Azerbaijan National beach Soccer Team will participate in FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifier 2008 in Benidorm for European countries from 11-18 of May.. There will be 24 teams in 6 groups. Each group consist of four teams. The first two teams and the best four teams from the third place will advance to 1/8 final. The rest stage of tournament will be held by knock out system. Only four teams among 24 participating teams will qualify to FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2008 final stage in Marcel, which will be held in July. The group opponents of Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Team are Italy, Norway and Greece. First group match will be with Italy on 11 of May. Second match will be with Norway on 12 of May. Third match will be with Greece on 13 of May. Azerbaijan team will travel to Spain on 09 of May.
