Azerbaijan National Beach Soccer team, which has participated in the Crocs Challenge Cup Tournament organized in Den Haag (Netherlands), has won the bronze medals of the mentioned competition. It should be noted that our national team held three matches during the competition.

During the first match Azeri players earned a 6:5 victory over Czech Republic. Muslim Huseynov made a hat-trick, Elvin Quliyev, Zeynal Zeynalov and Hikmet Baghirov scored once per each. The second match of our national team was against Turkey. Unfortunately, Azerbaijan lost the game with a score 8:5. It should be noted that Asif Zeynalov scored 4 goals, and one goal was scored by Ilham Azizzadeh. During the last game, played against England, our national squad made things too difficult for the English side yet in the first period, after four-goal run that almost finished the game. Guliyev and Baghirov raised the 2-0 in the first minute, and Baghirov again and Sultanov doubled Azerbaijan’s distance shortly before the first horn. That was a really steep path for England National team. Mitchell and Blake shortened the distance in the second period, but Zeylanov finished English expectations and restated the Azeri dominion today with the fifth hit for his side.
